Cool hardware?... hmmm
About the coolest I have is a Sony Cineza HS-10 projector which blows a screen 116" (wide) 18 feet away from where I sit. That is 133 inches diagonal as they measure TVs. Yes just over 10 feet. I play DVDs, watch TV (sports are awesome), and it makes the BIGGEST computer desktop screen a person can imagine when I plug in the computer.
The sound system I have is OK as well. I run a Panasonic SA-HE200 (DTS, Neo 6, etc.) The centre channel I built last year (with help from my father-in-law) from an Audax kit. The sub is a M&K Goliath but I blew it a few weeks ago and I am awaiting repairs.
