I have a modded Windows XP, That looks like a mac. I want lunix I run Apple OSX 10.3 (Panther) and it looks just like a mac too . I love the UNIX underpinnings in OSX. Can get right down to the command line quick. Apache rocks and the Mac/UNIX printer core now does away will all drivers. Rock solid... never have to reboot after installs is nice too. The new security features in Panther I have yet to test out but it looks to me like rather standard ipfw. And the very very very best thing? No known virus has ever been found for Apple OSX. Yes I must use a virus checker... but that is only so I don't accidentally pass along something I might pick up from someone on windows.

I have WinXP Professional. I like using products from Stardock.com to change the interface. Blitzkrieg, how long have you been using OSX? It would be nice to not have to worry about being hacked like it is with Windows. We have met already on the RR board. TonyLee

the nice thing about lunix is the lack of spyware.
I've actually thought of changing to it but I dont feel I have the computer skills to do that yet or be able to use it for that matter
